This is a powerful conveciton oven and gas range with great features and performance.

Our Samsung 5.8 cu. ft. Freestanding Gas Range with True Convection has truly impressed us with its tremendous quality, performance and operational features. The convection oven system has demonstrated a remarkable level of performance; it gets to temperature very quickly and evenly and is also very quiet and effective while in operation. The cooking surface and burns are absolutely first rate also, especially with the center, large oval burner and griddle surface.
The oven controls and timer features are exactly what we expected and expect in a quality Samsung convection range and oven. We especially like the convection roast and bake cycles to reduce cooking times at our high elevation location of nearly 8,000 feet Colorado. We need this capability and the Samsung really performs at a very high standard. The oven's cleaning cycle, oven surface is very easy to maintain and keep the oven immaculate. We are pleased with the oven interior lighting, the cook or roast timers and other digital features. They are reliable and easy to engage and use to compliment the powerful convection oven. It is a pleasure to recommend this outstanding Samsung product.

Very Nice Range Overall

The range has performed very well but is not used alot because I am a family of 1. Did well over the Christmas/NY holidays with lots of company. Don't think the shiny black under the burners is a great idea and wish the range were available in black w/o SS. (I realize I am in the minority on that.)
The location of the lablel with the serial number is horrible. One must lay down on the floor with a flashlight to get the number which is 15 characters long in small print. I think Samsung can to better than that.

I baked my sister's birthday cake and it was raw in the middle. The same thing happened with brownies and cookies the next weekend. This is too expensive of a range to not be calibrated properly!
Pros: attractive design
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
