A Good Product... But!

the HP printer products have been VERY GOOD to EXCELENT for many years. However, I truly object to the fact that when one of the cartritages in my HP 8600 printer/scaner runs out of, say yellow ink, the printer WILL NOT print, not even for a black and white letter (no colors). This means that I must always have a complete supply of black and colored ink on hand. I don't do a LOT of printing and it seems like I get 9 or 10 months usage from a high capasity cartrige. That is about $100 dollars worth of ink that i must keep on hand. Before I buy my next printer I will ask if it the new printer will continue to print in black when one or more of the colors are empty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

These comments are to cover not just the cyan ink cartridge, but the yellow and magenta ones I ordered as well. No complaints on any of them. They are easy to install and work just fine.
