I thought that the cartridge would not arrive on time because we were in the middle of a pandemic. The item arrived on time. My niece and I use the printer with fresh ink every Monday. I thought I was purchasing 951XP (closed ink) ink cartridges but only the 950s (black ink) were XP. I could have bought the XP cartridges at the same price as the ones I bought elsewhere.

Hello there,

If a printer doesn't recognize cartridges, there is a likely culprit. No need to give ink away, as ink is a valuable resource. I apologize you weren't happy with the product. What happened here is a software update occurred. Any cartridges previously bought are no longer recognized. A simple fix is to remove the most recent update. Reach out to HP if that doesn't remove the problem.
