XL cartridges make a XL difference. Longer shelf life helps too. Being able to bundle color and black cartridges makes for substantial savings as ink has become horrendously expensive.

The ink doesn't last very long at all. I would rather buy a pack of XL but they don't seem to be available. I run out of ink really fast, and the page estimates are ridiculous. I don't get anywhere near the pages advertised.
