Love this fridge

I noticed the shelves are designed to be positioned together if you choose to adjust the shelves because of a small notch and for this reason it does not seem possible to only readjust a single shelve without moving the other. Freezer space is roomy and plentiful. Lighting is very bright and easy to see easily throughout the fridge. Love the meat drawers. Would have liked bigger vegetable bins and smaller meat and cheese drawer. Ice maker works great and like the low profile. Very happy with the fridge and glad to have selected this one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Freezer issues

Picked this model because the icemaker is in the freezer. Many of the "bad" refrigerator reviews have something to do with in door ice makers. So far we love the space and accessibility of all the food. No more robbing peter to find space for paul. also, its SUPER quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This frig has a lot of room. It seems to refrigerate evenly in the box section. The freezer is more than adequate. It holds an amazing amount of items. The downside of this appliance is that it is extremely noisy both for the frig and ice maker features. The first time I heard the ice maker it sounded like an AK47 being shot off. I actually jumped from the chair I was sitting in. Additionally, I think the drawers and interior construction are a bit flimsy. The drawers must be perfectly aligned or they hang up. Condensation builds up on the upper section of the freezer, even when it is only open for short periods of time to retrieve items from it. I would only give this product a 3 - 3 1/2 stars.

Would not buy again. After a month it became very noisy when running. No other changes in my household and yet, electric bill went up when started using this appliance.

A True Living nightmare!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the large capacity. It runs quietly BUT it continues to break down in less than 2 years of operation. So when you fill up this LARGE CAPACITY refrigerator and it breaks down, then you lose HUNDREDS of dollars in food. The ice-maker had broken in the first 3 months of plugging in this refrigerator in. I am very sorry I purchased this refrigerator for nearly $2,000. I have just put in a 3rd order for repair and lost a completely large capacity's size food again!!!

CONDENSER COIL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was just informed by customer service that the condenser coil should be cleaned twice a year and this has to be done by a licensed professional. This is absolutely ridiculous. Why should I pay a "licensed professional" outrageous fees to clean then condenser coils on my refrigerator?

LFC28768ST won't make ice - compressor failure

We bought this unit in late 2017 and it is our second LG refigerator purchase. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I thought LG had worked out it's QC issues.....WRONG. LG makes problematic products across the board. LG probably OEM's for other appliance compnay. Do yourself a huge favor and research well.
