Dead in 18 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our LG LFC28768ST compressor died within 18 months of purchase. We need to pay to have someone come look at it, verify that the compressor is bad, then wait for them to order the part, get it in and pay for them to install it. Last LG purchase (dishwasher and washer also had problems within 6 months of purchase...).
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This refrigerator has a stylish and clean design, both on the exterior and interior. It has lots of room both in the refrigerator and the freezer. No complaints so far.

Quiet and Cools Evenly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago. I love it. Very large capacity. Easy to organize food in the fridge and freezer so everything is easy to find. Nice and quiet. No matter where the food is in the fridge it is cold and never frozen (my last fridge which would freeze food at the back at whim). The inside is easy to clean. This is my first stainless steel appliance and I am still getting used to keeping the outside clean. I never knew how much I touched the outside of the doors until I saw all the fingerprint evidence. A damp cloth wipe followed by a microfiber wipe is doing the trick so far to clean the fingerprints.

Great Purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a few months ago and have loved it. There are a few things that I would have added/changed that would have made this the perfect fridge, but I haven't seen one yet that has every feature. I wish the icemaker had a control to stop making ice when the bin was full, but it doesn't, so I just cut it off until it reaches half full and then cut it back on again. I also wish that the door bins were a little heavier duty plastic than they are, since we put 2 liter drinks in there. The last thing I would have like to have seen was one of the sliding glass shelves on the top row. It was in the picture, but I knew it didn't have one when I purchased it. I specifically wanted this one because I have seen so many people having problems with the ice/water in the door leaking or causing rust later on and I didn't want that. Overall though, I like my LG refrigerator and get a lot of compliments on how much room it has.

Our second LG only because it's a size nobody else makes. Had problems with ice maker after a year and now after 4 years it just quit. Be cheaper to put in new cabinets so we can get a different brand.
