Easy Setup...Nice printer

We have used HP printers for our business for 20 yrs. This one is by far the best quality printer we have had. It was so simple to setup on our network. The fax feature was super simple to set up too. Had everything out of the box and all features running in a 1/2 hour. The only draw back that I see happening is that when you change a drawer to use 14 inch paper the drawer has an opening in the front where dirt and dust is going to get in. They should give you a plastic spacer to fit over the space. We just cover the machine with a plastic cover. The black color is classy looking.

Really like having two trays for paper, my only complaint is have to remove paper in order to run envelopes and copy instructions fo change size, etc are a little frustrating and time consuming

Exceeds All Expectations

Due to new computer equipment upgrades, I needed a new printer that could support both 64 bit and older 32 bit operating systems. I purchased the HP 8600 to replace my trusty G85 and 6122. The 8600 is some four times faster in printing and the wireless setup was painless for all computers in my house now using it.

Pros) Good price value! Fast shipping from HP, Well packaged, Super easy setup, Wireless setup was a breeze, ePrint (email printing) and printing from my IPAD2 was easy to setup and works great!! 2 sided printing and extra paper tray setup easy and also works great!! I also like the RJ11 (phone line) for FAXing as well.

I am amazed at the ease of installing a complicated printer as this one. However, I eliminated a fax machine and also gained scanning ability for 14" paper. I will also use the email of the printer for printing while being away from printer.

Had much difficulty hooking up the wireless to the network, but it could have just been me. As far as performance and print quality, it is a great product!

I wore my old printer out (HP Officejet 6500) HP always makes good products and if tou do have a problem HP has a fast turnaround time for warranty service.
