Had one that was bigger in size before but had more features on it I had no use for. This one fit the price value and the things I use. The wireless part I like the best plus the apps. our neat if you want them. It's slower then my last one but if you can live with that part it's worth the price.

This printer was easy to install and is easy to use, the only thing I was not able to do so far is hook up the fax feature.

Good replacemnt for previous printer

Out of the box set-up was relatively smooth. The display gives information on what comes next in actual set-up. Would have preferred more written information in the box for set-up - the display is slow going. No USB connector in the box to connect to the PC! Should be a basic inclusion. The fax test took a while to get working. Overall OK, but could be better. Shipment arrived quickly. Not unlike my previous printer so it works for me.

I have been very pleased with this pronter. It was easy to set up, & print quality/speed are excellent. It also starts up quickly when the power button is pressed. My previous printer took about 5 minutes to go through the startup process each morning.

Great Choice So Far

I went a little higher in price to get some features (e.g., duplexer, SD cards), and so far so good. It is faster and a little quieter than my previous HP all-in-one, which is nice, too. Quality in all four functions seems fine. We have it on the network and it serves the whole house. So far, I think we made the right choice.

Works with Linux!!

First let me say that this product is great. Especially given that all the features, including Ethernet scanning, work with Linux. I run Linux Mint, a Ubuntu derivative, and this all-in-one works flawlessly. One think to note though, YOU MUST USE A DEDICATED POWER SOURCE FOR THIS UNIT TO WORK PROPERLY. I had an issue with scanning and copying working when I first got the unit. After an hour or so on the phone I finally got a hold of someone who was able to help me and asked if I had the unit plugged into an extension cord or power strip. I said that I did. He told me to plug it straight into the wall and see if that didn't fix it. Tried it and everything worked without issue. It would have been a lot easier if HP just noted that in the sales information, but in the end it all work and I am very pleased with the outcome.
