For the most part I am very satisfied with this product.

scan does not work

i had help from geek squad to set up network printer. it prints. it copies. the scanner does not work, so will have to reinstall or something. don't have time to fix yet

This is a good product as far as printing and copying. Unfortunately, after using for several weeks I am still trying to get the scanner to work. I have Windows 8.1 on my laptop. I have been unable to get the drivers for 8.1 installed. I have been advised that I need to reformat the OS back to its factory settings and then attempt installing again. I do no use the fax portion of the printer because I don't need it. My expectation is that I will be able to reload the program. I think I have a fine printer but it has been a hassle to be able to get it all set up.

Quiet and High Quality Output

The print quality is fine, scanning and copying are easy and trouble-free. Setup was straightforward. Only problem is occasional loss of WiFi connection — although printer claims to be connected, HP Utility cannot make connection until WiFi setup is redone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had another HP printer Office jet 6480 which I liked enough but was a bit slower than i needed. I ordered this which is infinitely faster and has all of the features I wished for. I have yet to use the OCR software but intend to do so. The scanner is faster but the software has less options than the J6480 in that I could resize and have it enlarge by doing so, with this one I cannot, it stays the original size. But for scanning and printing, which I do most of, I am very very happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this copier, which also faxes and scans, is a great value for the price. seems well made and easy to operate. able to finally print from Iphone and Ipad. replaced a HP copier that was almost 10 years old. so am amazed at all the bells and whistles and the ease of setup .

I have a MacBook Pro and the latest Apple AirPort Extreme… and still had one glitch in set-up. I had to buy a USB hookup to the printer in order to establish the initial connection. Time will distinguish whether or not my pleasure in its performance is warranted or not. Response has been immediate and smooth. Love that it holds a good amount of paper.
