What's great about it: Sound quality
What's not so great: Battery life and charging cables
Knowing the output is only as good as the input (spelled bitrate), the unit is excellent. Bluetooth is easy to sync although you sacrifice a little bit of quality using it. Very nice to be able to control the player from the steering wheel. The battery is sufficient but nowhere near the hours they quote especially using bluetooth. Charging cable configuration is strange. Included software (MediaGo) is excellent. Overall, easy to navigate, impressive sound and great software.

What's great about it: headphones, audio and video quality
What's not so great: IT DOESN'T WORK
This would be a great Mp3 Player if it actually worked. I used this a good 15-20 minutes before it froze up and the battery died. I tried to charge it back up, but it doesn't even recognize that the Mp3 player is plugged in. I checked the internet to see if anyone else was having this problem, and sure enough, there were many others having the same situation. Keep in mind that I only ordered this not even a month ago, so if you're lucky enough to have this device actually work, it's a good Mp3 player

I wish there was a standard plug in charger instead of having to use the USB on a computer. Many times there is no system around to plug into. Other than that great sound.

What's great about it: Sleek, easy to learn to use.
What's not so great: Haven't had it long enough to comment on durability.
Has the features I was seeking (capacity, ease of use, FM tuner, wireless). I had very little learning curve. FM tuner is great, wireless terrific, Media Go is easy to use.

What's great about it: Small, reliable, good sound, remembers place in file
What's not so great: dim screen, cramped buttons
Not bad, really. Screen is not bright enough to see in bright daylight. Comes with excellent earbuds, among the best. Connects directly to Windows for direct manipulation of files. You don't have to use Windows Media Player or Itunes. Uses a button and surrounding arrows for playing and moving around, small and crowded. Easy to hit a back button and lose your place. Not a big deal with music, maybe, but annoying with audio books. Remembers its place when you turn it off, a rare and good thing. Average battery life. Has curious fast forward feature- if your are paused it goes fast, if you're listening it goes slow. Very thoughtful feature.

What's great about it: The best sound
I have been involved with electronis since I was a child and this mp-3 player is the best sounding device that I have ever heard and not to mention very durable, the wireless headset is the same with the sound, and lasts a long time depending on the volume setting that you prefer, the only thing with the wireless headset is the fm stereo doesnt work, but you have to allow for a connecting antenna for that, for which the wired headset is the antenna, which is explained in the directions. The other thing that I really liked with this device is the different mood settings that it has for the music, also for the screen size the graphics are excellent. I have already put over a thousnd songs on it and I believe I have room for a thousand more. If you are want to buy an mp-3 player I strongly recomend this device. There is another thing to consider to sony has been around for a long time and anywhere you look they have for the most part have the best ratings, and my opinion in the top 3 best..

I have had a MWZ-S544 Sony walkman for about a year now and wanted to upgrade to a wireless walkman. I was happy with my S544 except for the ear buds that came with the Walkman. I purchased a separate set with a 16mm driver for a base sound. I was afraid the these wireless ear buds would not sound as good. I'll get back to this later.
Here are some facts of this MWX-S764 as I know them.
* When listening with the wireless plugs it cancels out the volume slide and number on the window of the player when you raise the volume on the wireless control.
* On this control you have volume control, fast forward, repeat and skip forward, pause and reverse.
* You can not listen to FM music with the wireless head plugs, that's why a pair of wired head plugs come with this player.
* While listening with the wireless head plugs it cancels out the AVLS which is the standard "comfort level" enabling no limit to the volume level.
* This wireless MP3 player is smaller compared to the small MP3 player I had previously which means the fonts on the display are tiny, hope you have good eye sight.
* So far I believe that while using the wireless head plugs it will shorten the battery life for playback.
* You are able to slide a side button to put the player on hold but will not affect the ability to use the controls on the wireless head plugs, this feature I like to prevent hitting buttons on the player while carrying it in your shirt or pant pocket.
These are just how some of the features and how they operate, some of the other features are impressive such as equalizer, VPT sound, sound enhancement, clear stereo. dynamic normalizer, song lyric display on the window
Back to the head plugs...I don't know what size the drivers these buds have but there not 16mm, but the sound is just as bold with clean crisp highs, I am impressed with the overall features and the ease of use and sound, well hearing is believing!, but I personally record at 192kps vs 128kps for sound quality and this player delivers a quality re-production
One last thing, once you use the wireless head plugs chances of going back to wired head plugs is small, so instead of Sony giving us a pair of wired head plugs to listen to the FM radio they could of deleted the FM and the pair of wired head plugs and lower the price.
* The sound with the wireless head plugs is fantastic...good deep bass while the highs are not muffed out. You'd be impressed !
* Also included is a sleep mode and alarm.
One last thing, the head phones need charging as well as the MP3 player, I used strictly the wireless head phones to see how much play time I get listening to downloaded songs…the max I was able to get (twice) before a re-charge is 5 hrs…that is not utilizing the wireless controls ie: fast forward, rewind etc. just straight listening time.
The MP3 player battery bar was at the ½ way point
Some of the features I mentioned may be annoying to you but the overall performance of this player out weighs all statements of the features noted above.

Admittedly I just bought this yesterday and have only just begun to delve into it after my Sansa Fuze began to give me trouble. I listen to a lot of audiobooks and have an extensive mp3 collection. I am completely impressed with how the blue tooth headphones sound and how they feel in my ears after not enjoying most of the in the ear headphones around. I ended up sticking with the larger round ones due to the great sounding bass in them. Having said that I find these ear buds have the same great sound and an extraordinary clarity that was not in my older pair. The volume, bass, and sound clarity exceeded my expectations for any headphones, much less wireless ones. While I cannot speak to the durability yet if this player holds up to specs it will be a great player. Easy to use, would have liked to have a usb cord to charge the player itself at the same time the headphones charge but I have cords that will work. (The headphone charger cable connects to the micro usb cable to charge the player.) Over all I am highly impressed and I do not say that lightly. Looks like the screen may be easily scratched so I would get a protector quickly for it.
