I love most features but I would like a closure cap on the water tank. Water sloshes out when you iron. Also the steam holes spit water which it is not supposed to do. This is aggravating.

Iron is missing an indicator lamp

The iron fulfills the basic functions of ironing however it lacks a pilot lamp. There are three ways for the iron to turn itself off, but no way of knowing that it is on.

Iron with Smart Steam Technology

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried this product out for a couple of weeks now. I needed a new iron to get the wrinkles out of my dress slacks for work. This iron caught my eye because it has smart steam technology. In the past, I never really knew when to use the steam to help me iron my clothes, but this iron adjusts the steam automatically and takes out all the guess work. You can also steam your clothes holding the iron vertically like they do at the dry cleaners. The water heats up quickly, and you can easily see the water levels in case you need to refill the water to produce more steam. This iron did exactly what I needed it to do, take out the wrinkles from my dress slacks. I didn't have any problems using the iron. I was able to take it out of the box, put in water, and iron my clothes. The cord seemed to pivot around easily, so that made my ironing experience more pleasurable. If your in the market for a new iron with smart steam technology, this is the iron for you!

Awesome Iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this iron for a couple of weeks now and I love it! Hands down one the best irons I've personally owned. Very true to it's name, it has the feel of a nice, heavier weight iron and is very reminiscent of older "classic" irons. It glides very easily, has one dial to adjust the temperature and doesn't leak. It fills easily and everything I've ironed with it so far has been nice and pressed. So simple to use- fill it and plug it in nothing fancy about it. I have also noticed that this iron doesn't sputter and leave watermarks like myolder iron used to. Highly recommended!

Great Iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really good iron. It doesn't leak water or leave wet spots on my clothes like my previous iron did. A great feature is that the iron will turn itself off in case you forget to do it! I also used this iron to get stains out of my carpet. I soaked the stain with a mixture of water and dish soap. Next, I placed a clean white rag over the stain and ironed out the stain. The steam really helped break up the stain!

It leaks, badly, however I have requested a replacement and will be glad to evaluate that when it arrives.

Disappointed

I was excited to buy an iron that had a nice weight to it and seemed sturdy and durable. I loved the auto shutoff because as soon as I picked the iron up it was right back without a lot of resetting and delay. The steam function worked great! I see in the reviews that some people were complaining that the iron leaked. I didn't have this problem. However, I quickly became discouraged by the sticky sole plate. How in the world can I press anything when the iron will not move? It is a serious workout to keep the thing moving and encountering a seam brings it to a dead stop! I am so frustrated. I can not recommend this iron because of the frustrating stickiness or roughness of the plate! It feels like there is glue or sandpaper on the bottom of the iron when I try to move it!

Good Basic Iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy with this iron. It heats up quickly and does the job. Its weight is good, and water line is visible. There is no cap over the water inlet though, so if you are not very careful, a few drops of water can come out. One thing I did not like is that there was no lights indicating the iron is on or hot like most irons I have purchased. This feature would be great to add as it is a great visible indicator for young kids to know when the iron is on.
