Dead in 6 months.

Bought on 12/23/2023 to replace a GE unit, built in 1996, that started to arc that month. It was original to the build of the house on 96/97. On June 30th, 2024, my husband set a cooking time on it, hit the start button, and they're was a "pop" and the unit was dead. No advanced warning. Checked all electrical on the house end, and it's not the problem. I'm searching for the manufacturer warranty, as we did not purchase a warranty. We only used the unit to reheat food.

We have been having this microwave for the past 15 years. Works great. We had to get this one as a replacement- the paint on the door getting peeled.

We have found the keypad to be confusing and activating a button is difficult. Lastly, we are elderly and opening the oven door takes a lot of pressure.
