Excellent Microwave

This is the third GE Microwave we’ve owned in 22 yrs. Each one in a different home. We bought all of them new . Our current unit is a large countertop unit. All of them have been reliable, never a mechanical or electronics issue. It is a good looking machine, it can do way more than we normally ever use. The price was good , but it was on sale when we bought it, so even better!

I'm so thankful that there's still a market for large microwaves. I live in an older house. The cabinet space for the microwave is quite large so it takes a large microwave to fill it. This one does the job. It looks nice & can handle any large dishes I need heated.

Excellent 2L Kitchen Microwave replacement

This particular 2.0 L GE microwave was an urgent purchase as a replacement of our previous-generation predecessor microwave we have had for ~16 years! In the past, I had replaced the magnetron and the transformer to repair it, but a recent failure timing was unsuitable for me to tinker with it due to an upcoming official trip.
The microwave is an improvement from the previous model with intelligent internal volume increase without affecting the outer measurements. Everything else seems to be very similar with a few subtle changes on the keyboard. It fit the base plate to fit in the cavity with perfect fitment and it is hard to tell the difference.

So far so good! 3rd GE microwave in about 15 years. This one is huge! I like GE microwaves as they have never given me a problem & when they do & need replaced, I feel I got my money's worth.
