Almost Perfect!

I finally found one with all the features on my list.
Took a long time because of all the microwaves with really bad reviews.
Plus hard to find the 30 second button feature. Too many have the 1 minute. I use the 30 second quick button all the time.
(it is a press pad not a button as I say here.) Nice & responsive too.

This model also had some bad reviews. Mainly due to an out of line door that would not shut. If you did get it to close often the light would stay on when you are not using microwave.
I honestly don't know if there are many with this door issue or just one
roaming around from warehouse to warehouse. Being sent out to see if someone will keep it. Because...I too was delivered one with a door that
would not shut. Also finger prints you could not get out- a gray look to the shiny black ( where you'd need to shut the door btw.)
I asked the too in a hurry delivery men why is box torn up & damaged. Already opened. Very rough looking. They said oh it was tested & examined. Untrue.

Came quick. Box was completly sealed Clean & unit smelled NEW.

Like my title said this model is 99% perfect.

OH I LOVE this microwave!!!! No problems with this one. Has everything you need. Very pretty look. I got black. Turntable is perfect size.
Rounded corners inside. Easy clean inside. I don't have any problem with sound while running. Just a normal hum. Love baked potatoes in it with button btw.

****The 1% bad is the " reheat button". I've tried & tried to use it. So far it overheats all I've tried. Could be me, what I try to reheat, or disfunctional?
I'm very ok w/o reheat. Just use timed & power level once you get used to this GE model. Otherwise I could not be happier with my choice.
Hint: Due to higher watts than my last 1000w, I reduced Uncle Bens bagged rice from 90 sec to 80. Hot & moist.

3 months - No problems. If not counting reheat.
VERY Happy to have my GE microwave. Features this model has are perfect!!!

I bought one a little larger than I needed it take up a lot of counter space (my bad ) the appliance works fine

We bought this to replace one we loved. It's a pretty good replacement for the limited choices available in white. The only change I would make is have the readout default back to the time after so long like my other one. I do like having the option to adjust the beep noise. It's HUGE inside which is great.
What didn't affect my rating but aggravates me is the trim kit for it to be "built in" costs more than the microwave itself. Ridiculous!
Not an option to choose "other" or "replacement" under the primary reason for choosing this product. We wanted white, choice was limited, and we had to replace our old one. Price is what I chose but honestly it wasn't any better of a price than the other options.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We seem to be having good results with this so far - it seems a little sensitive sometime with the door having to be opened and closed to get to work ...and sometimes the 10 or 20 seconds doesn't work on the first try...I am hoping I am just not use to.......
