I BOUGHT THIS MICROWAVE OVEN ALMOST FIVE MONTHS AGO AND IT WENT COMPLETELY DEAD. I HAVE REQUESTED A REPLACEMENT UNIT BY EMAIL REQUESTING A LOCATION TO PICK IT UP. WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS

Enjoying The New GE Microwave

Since purchasing a few months ago, the GE microwave oven has not let me down.
Size was important when I was doing my research. The 2.0 cubic cavity and 1200 watts of power had me salivating. So far so good. Cooking like a champ.
p.s My cat also thanks you. The box it came in makes a great cat playhouse.

Worked fine for two months, then decided the good times were over.
Now it stops whenever it wants to and tells me to re-set the clock or all the parts of the digital read-out light up.
I am not a happy cooker.

Own this for 5 months and it completely died and 3 of those month I've been out of country. Will not even show anything in the display, nor does the inside light turn on. And yes it has power to the plug.

I bought this microwave in January 2014 to replace another GE microwave that I had for a couple of years. It seems that as soon as the year warranty was up, I started having problems with the microwave in regards to the settings and timers. It stopped allowing me to set the time on the clock, I am unable to set the timer now and must use one of the "quick settings" of 1-6 and today it just stopped all together although the light is on and the timer is counting down; nothing happens. I am very disappointed in the performance of this microwave and it is not likely I will purchase a GE appliance again.

I expected this microwave to last much longer than two years. It only has a one year warranty so I had to buy a new one. Not another GE. It did its job while it lasted.
