This is nice, but so different from the previous model we had it has taken some time to get to know it. Actually had a service person come out to check it because using it the same as the old model was not getting the same results. Consequently I was about to return it. But the service person was very patient and explained the differences in models and suggested I elevate things I wished to cook in order for them to cook all the way through. I bought a stand, well, actually a bacon tray which I put in upside down, and that was enough height to help things cook thoroughly. So I suggest taking the time to get to know the oven and it's differences before giving up on it.

I had a GE microwave for about 15 years - After finally giving up, I searched for another GE and found the one I purchased. It is similar to my old one with more features - I love it!

"What A Nice Gift"

This microwave was a gift, when my last microwave broke(not a GE). My refrig and stove are the "GE Profile" line. I bought GE because that's what my parents bought. My GE microwaves in the past never stopped working, I just always had a problem with the interior peeling away, and looking so bad, and I was afraid of arching(only reason I replaced them. The last microwave was not GE, died with great interior).
I'm happy to have this gift, always loved GE, just hope the interior don't peel away in a year, that why I could not give a 5 on quality . If you want to bake a med potato do time cook, or use the bake potato button twice, other wise great microwave, and a very nice gift.
