My mom-in-law and I both have this microwave, and we have been very pleased with it! It heats evenly and consistently, the more precise features are easy to use, and it has an option to adjust the timer noise (which I have never seen before).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as well made as the one we bought 10 years ago

When you open and close it the unit gives the impression of being less well-made than the 10 year old GE unit we replaced.

Needed a basic microwave that does the job. This was perfect without breaking the bank. Same trusted ge features I'm used to. Worry a couple added features.

I bought this oven in February of 2015 based on online reviews and longevity projections. I am so tired of microwaves ovens that only last a few years!
The price was very good. It has all the usual features. It runs quietly, and heats quickly. The Express Cook buttons are convenient, IF you need exact minutes. If you need say, one and a half minutes, you wind-up having to push more buttons to get what you want. You have to push the "Time Cook" button first, then enter 1:30. But, that's my only negative comment. Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchase.
