We bought this unit to replace a unit we had for over 7 years. This microwave is not only 100 times better that what we had but 100 times better than we expected

This is a replacement for the GEProfile purchased about 15 years ago and if we have this one as long as the last one, we will not have to replace it.

Microwave looks good but opening/closing door has such a flimsy cheap make sound it discourages one from wanting to purchase any other GE products even if they work well, they sound like they will fall apart before the warranty expires. fixing the tinny door would go a long ways to customer confidence.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
