I originally bought this same microwave several years ago. The product serviced me so well i purchased the exact same one to replace the original. Door closure is an issue

Great microwave on the inside. Cooks well, heats evenly, keypad is easy to use and we have enjoyed it. But the door closure is still an issue, as I have seen with these models. Those cheap hinges have to be greased (Crisco) to keep them closing without slamming. These doors need to be re-engineered. We do not like slamming the microwave door every time we use the microwave.

Was thrilled to find that GE still makes this excellent model which replaces one that finally gave up the ghost after many years of flawless service. I can only hope it's still available many years hence when this one gives out.

Bought this microwave to replace a GE Profile one that died after only 4 years and was too costly to replace. This one was less than have the price of the Profile and had all the features.

Like it a lot but for one thing...

We use our microwave a lot. This model is larger than our previous one..I' very happy with it except for the door. If you swing or push the door shut, you have to make sure that it latches at the bottom. The door is quite wide, and should latch much more easily than it does. This design issue needs to be corrected. Otherwise, I would rate it 5 stars.
