Had great features and loads of space, but QUIT WORKING after only 2 years! WILL NOT HEAT!!!! Ge let me down!!!

Short product life

Microwave oven worked OK for 16 months, then the magnetron tube failed. Only 12 months warranty. Bummer!

Extremely disappointed! I purchased this Microwave 18 months ago. Normal use. Nothing crazy and it lasted 18 months. At first glance reviews show 4.5 stars. It wasn't until after it died that I went back through the reviews to notice the overwhelming amount of bad reviews with the same issues. With 1700 reviews I guess it's easy to hide that many bad reviews. How convenient that it only last just long enough for the warranty to expire. If this set the tone for the quality of GE products, I no longer will be purchasing the brand.

Works great but two units had problems...

1st unit I brought home - had digital display problems. All the little LEDS were not working... so could not tell the time for example. Next unit I brought home - woks great for power and cooking an heating things up... but, the light inside went out, and I was informed GE would not fix it or replace it. They offered to replace the $$ that I had paid. I'll do without the light until I can determine of I can fox it myself... Till then - I'll use my flashlight.

By far not my favorite

I wish I hadn't bought this oven. First problem is the digital panel: if you don't touch very precisely in each number/function, it won't work. Since the whole panel is black, you must guess where exactly to put your fingertip every single time you want this thing to work! The timer is as annoying as possible: it keeps beeping after it goes off until you stop it. When you try close the door, no matter how gently you do, it closes with a loud bang, annoying. This is by far the worse microwave I have ever purchased. If it was not for the hassle of re-packaging and taking it back to the store, I'd return it in a heartbeat!

Touch pad is very hard to use. Light already doesn't work. 2/12 months old. Last unit was so ugh better.
