Make me some popcorn!

I bought this to replace an 18yo microwave that had been having some issues for a couple of years. First off, I love the size, as there are few options for 2+ cubic feet MWs that are counter top models.
Secondly, the quick cook buttons are nice, but I think the thing that EVERYONE who had used it for popcorn would agree...it is the best MW I have ever used that had that feature. It's really nice to only have a couple of unpopped kernels in every bag, as opposed to the old days of burning it trying to get a few more to pop, or having good popcorn, but 30-40 kernels still unpopped.
I just hope I get as many years from this one as my last one.

Easy to install and use!

We have been pleased with the microwave. We installed it ourselves with ease. I would have preferred that I could enter seconds to cook directly instead of after pressing other buttons.

GE did not make a built-in mounting kit for this!

Poor job at GE Appliances for not making a mounting/built-in trim kit for JES2051SNSS. The shape of the bottom of the unit will not allow you to modify the JX2127SH designed for the JE2160 nor will it fit the JX7227SFSS. GE was not thoughtful in making the accessories interchangeable. Go ahead and make it hard on the consumer!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Microwave Oven

The popcorn timer is set accurately! This is a first! No more burnt popcorn or "old-maids". (sounds corny, no pun intended, but it's the little things in life that make us happy. Mine is popcorn so don't judge ;-)

Big and powerful product

I bought his microwave a month ago and it has been working fine so far. The microwave is very roomy inside. It has a good amount of wattage so this microwave cooks and thaws items very well. I bought the stainless steel color and it matches my other GE products in the kitchen.

But touch control barely works

I bought this a couple two or three months ago and I'm not at all happy with it when you press any of the numbers you have to press all around that number and with different pressure to ever get it to come on it's definitely not touch sensitive

Very good Microwave

I mostly use my microwave to re-heat food. This microwave does a great job of heating food. I love the one-touch timer. You simply press the 1 button for one minute, 2 for two minutes, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!
