Intuitive programming

Our last GE microwave lasted 14 1/2 years. It was like part of the family. This new one is larger and more accommodating; but that's not its best feature. The special buttons (potato, popcorn, etc) are a dream come true. I just popped an old bag of popcorn and every single kernel popped to perfection. Also, whether I put one or four potatoes in, they all come out perfectly cooked, no more, no less, just right and ready.
The unit is loud. But it works so well we are all so happy with it. I hope it lasts nearly as long as the last GE.

Very Easy to Use

Just picked this up and functions are very different from previous oven but my Mom (who is 84) caught on immediately (and she is very resistant to change). Very happy with this product.

HUGE - Good Features - Works Well

This microwave is first and foremost, HUGE. I didn't realize just how big until trying to put it in the same place the old one was installed. It does work really well (so far) and while there are only a few buttons, the features are nice. The buttons are not entirely logical though so when heating something that requires a specific time like 1.5 minutes, remember to press the right button first or it will use the defaults. You could probably heat an entire ham or turkey in this thing. The size does make for easier cleaning and I love the chrome look. Have only had it since 9/12/15 (about 2 months now) but it gets its usage for sure. We shall see how well it holds up (my last one only lasted about a year and the one before that lasted about 15 years).

I bought this to replace a microwave that wasn't that old, it just wasn't doing the job. So far this one is doing well. The only thing I would like is a hardcopy manual.
