This item purchased because the one I had just over a little one year old got a hole burned in ceiling GE replaced 1/4 of cost..

Good and Different!

I bought this model for the size and brand. My last microwave (also by GE) died after MANY years of service. It was a "workhorse" and I figured that I might as well not try to experiment with other brands and machines I didn't know or have experience with.
My husband LOVES the Popcorn feature, now he is able to pop popcorn and not burn it! I enjoy the size. It seems to heat much better than my old model, but I had him for years.... I guess we all wear out after a while. I am still trying to get adjusted to the control buttons. After I have used this microwave for a while, I assume that I will become as familiar with the buttons as I was with my old model. Old habits die hard. I suppose that I will rate it as Excellent when I get used to the buttons positions.....

Great Features and easy to operate

I have owned my new GE Microwave for a month or so and have been very pleased with it. It is so easy to operate that you don't have to be a hi-tech person to us it. I am really impressed.

I bought this as a replacement for my old one. The capacity was bigger but most of the features are the same. This microwave has everything I want.

When our old microwave quit working, my husband purchased this one. He chose well! It cooks evenly, the defrost feature works much better than our other one did. Good choice!

the only two things that stopped me from giving an excellent rating are the positioning of the stop/clear button next to the start button and the stickiness of the door release. other than these two it is great.
