Power cord location

The power cord of this microwave unit is located in a bad location and it is too short. The power cord exits the chassis from the UPPER left, looking at the rear of the unit. This does not allow me to install the unit to the RIGHT (looking at the front of the unit), of my wall plug, nor install the unit on a table more than two feet high. MOST WALL PLUGS ARE MOUNTED ON OR JUST ABOVE BASEBOARDS, unless you are mounting it on priceless counter top space. A removable power plug with connections on the rear of the chassis at both the left and the right lower corners would be ideal. If you insist on a high location, make it a third connection for the power cord. And make the cord a foot longer!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is nice, works ok. Wish GE made smaller microwaves. Having some noise issues with the turn table, not happy about that.

Does the job quickly. Like the turntable feature and large capacity. Controls simple. Too new to determine long term quality, last microwave lasted 20 years.We shall see.
