This microwave is larger than I have owned previously but I really enjoy the power. The reheat works well as done the timed cook.

Longevity is the issue

We just purchased this microwave for the second time. We really liked our first one, but it only lasted 25 months. It worked great for 25 months except for the clock, which stopped working several months ago. Since we have a built in microwave, we purchased the same one again (because the dimensions are perfect), and we hope that the last one was just a lemon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my third microwave from GE and for some reason the heating element always goes bad after five years. Do y'all do this on purpose?
