Great with popcorn not as good with thawing

I bought this to replace a GE profile microwave that had the turntable motor quit. My old GE used inverter technology to control the power. My new GE pulses the power. For example 50% power means that the microwaves are on at 100% power for half the time. This does not do as good a job for thawing than the older inverter technology. However it is excellent with microwave popcorn. It pops all but 1 or 2 kernels and does not burn the popcorn.

We bought this to replace our old GE that lasted over 10 years. Has more features and a lot lighter. So far been working great hope that continues.

We replaced our white G.E. microwave with a stainless steel one. We chose the same model as the first one worked so good.
