Bought this Saturday Jul 2 the door does not open on its own you need to push button and pull door open.

This is our second one of these. The first lasted about 4 years and died. I may have tried another brand, but this unit appears to be the only one that you can turn off (but) all the obnoxious beeping sounds. I hate appliances that beep at me. Otherwise it's a sold product, but wish the door would close more quietly instead of a loud clang. Can you tell I have a thing about noise?

I brought this last month and love it. I did an online search and other than the fact that it's larger than I thought, I love it. The color goes with the rest of my kitchen decor. It is replacing one of the same model.
