The size allows for a complete meal to be warmed from the refregerator to table.
Love the "END" notification that there is food done and waiting in microwave.
The glass turntable, that the food rests on, is sturdy when food is put on it and during cleaning.
During the dark hours of winter, the lables ARE a little difficult to see without turning on a light.

Lasted less than 13 months

It was a great microwave until today when, less than 13 months from our purchase date, it stopped heating anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If the microwave runs but is not heating, it could be one of many components. Make sure the “Timer” function was not inadvertently used. Check to ensure the door is closed firmly. Close it firmly, but do not slam. This confirms the engagement of the door's safety mechanisms.
For safety reasons, we offer no do-it-yourself repair advice on microwave ovens due to an internal high voltage capacitor (can hold a high voltage charge even after it has been unplugged). Special equipment is generally needed to make a diagnosis.
If the above suggestions do not solve the problem and the microwave still won't heat, we recommend contacting service. You can schedule an appointment online at: http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

I had one just like this and looked to find one just like it as a replacement. It has all of the features I wanted. I loe the "Extra 30" feature. and Express Cooking feature.
