We just purchased this yesterday but are no strangers to the GE products. This one was brought to replace our other one that we have had for over 20 years. That was a GE also and we stay with something that they take pride in making for the public and it lasts.

Love my microwave. It is easy to use and compliments my new stainless GE appliances. it is a little loud when you open and close the door but I think all microwaves are like that now

Only problem it has a turntable that limits capacity. Don't know why a microwave "stirrer" was not used instead. This seems to only be available anymore on much more expensive commercial microwaves. GE needs to rethink this

Changed product brand hoping for longer service.

Based upon reviews on this GE microwave, we chose not to return another brand because of their repeatedly failing product. Too many short lived microwaves. Presently, wife seems pleased with the features of this GE Microwave Model.

this microwave is built very well,all of the others at the store seemed very flimsy and cheesy.its very strong and heats food in half the time of my old one.
