We had the same model for several years and then it decided to quite. We never had a problem with the first one except age. So we bought the same model again in hopes of the same results as before.

We purchased this particular model because it was very similar to our old one and the keypad was almost identical which is important to us. This unit is just a bit bigger and more powerfull.

1250 watts does not even seem like food is as hot as our GE 1150 watts, but hope it last as many years or longer as that one did. (8)

We bought this model because it fit our space requirements both inside and out. We also wanted a white one and this fit the bill on that too. We returned the first one we bought because it had a crease in the side of the cabinet, but it also didn't work properly. It would often turn on when you closed the door.
The new one has none of these problems and seems to be working as expected. . This unit is more noisy than the old one, but seems to work well. It has plenty of features and I like the beverage button where it senses how hot that cup of coffee is and heats it up the exact amount needed. The potato button also works great. All in all, I like it. I just hope it lasts.
