Easy operation, efficient cooking and heat through

Replaced equivalent wattage Samsung. Easier to operate, quicker, more thorough and consistent cooking and reheat.

I bought this microwave on 9-16-2017 after my old GE microwave wall unit stopped working after a power surge. It was 35 years old and served me well. That's why I went looking for another GE microwave. This new one 2.0 cu ft heats the food faster and the turn table assures all of the food is cooked. The glass dish in the bottom lessens the chance of any spills to clean up inside the microwave. I was surprised that such a large unit seems perfect for a counter top. There's a nifty feature you'll soon love. It will beep to remind you that the food is still in the microwave should you forget to take it out. I have a microwave safe container for steaming vegetables. If you also steam veggies in the microwave it will take less time and you'll want to wear gloves to take it out. Veggies are nicely cooked.

Great microwave

My old microwave of 19 years was a GE, so I went with the new version of my old microwave. Works great and is easy to operate. I recommend this microwave.

If you haven't already done so, try shutting off the circuit breaker that provides electricity to your appliance or unplug it. Leave the power off for a minute or two before restoring it. This will often reset the internal circuitry. Also, try another small appliance in the outlet to ensure it has power going to it.

This my second unit. The first lasted 10 years with excellent performance. The sensors work reliably and accurately. Very user friendly. You cannot beat the price for this excellence. I would recommend it without reservation.
