Extremely disappointing!!!

Unit quit after 2-1/2 months. GE would not replace the unit and wanted to send out a tech to repair it. Months later I would still not have a working Microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased best microwave in January of 2019 to replace the GE microwave I purchased in 2008. The reason I bought another GE microwave is because of the quality and products last a long time. This was not the case for this microwave. I am a nurse and an hour before I am due for my night shift I tried to pop my soup into the microwave followed by my hot tea to get me going and nothing would heat up. I'm very dependent on the microwave when I and working because it is such a Time saver. I will try to contact GE and see if they can make this right for me because I realized the one year warranty expired 2 months ago. I must have gotten a defective microwave because I used this one just like I use my previous one and the one I had before last day over 10 years. This one lasted a year and two months

quit working after a year and a half

Only had it for a year and a half....just stopped working. I have to go through the trouble of returning it....complete hassle for the money I paid.. Also, please see how long I have been a customer.

nice....no instruction book...I'm not an electronic wiz , so you can't expect me to know how to operate this machine & get the most from it.

lets have popcorn and movie

cooks perfect popcorn. the only issue is the beep that happens after the meal is cooked. it sounds every minute until you can shut it off. annoying.

Worked as a replacement of JEB1860SM1SS

This product worked perfectly for a replacement for my JEB1860SM1SS that died (my fault). It fit in the trim kit perfectly even though I was told by GE and the store I purchased it from that none of their microwaves would fit old trim kits. Posting here in case it helps someone else—this is where I found out some others had it work, too. I compared measurements and purchased through a store that would take returns in case it wouldn’t work.
I would recommend this to a friend!
