Our last microwave finally stopped working so we went looking for another microwave. We saw the models in the stores and liked the looks of the GE. Upon further review it had all the features we needed. We love the 'add 30 seconds' feature.

this is our 3rd unit for the other 2 just wore out from all our use of them but we get the same one each time for we love all the features and performance of the microwave.

Large size & terrific performance

I purhased one of these microwaves about 6 years ago and it continues to perform flawlessly. I fully expect that this newer version will live up to GE's excellent standards. I especially like its workhorse performance and its large capacity. The 16 inch platter is more than enough to accommodate the needs of a small family without having to serially cook dishes and sides.

Microwave #3 stopped working after only about 2 years and we have friends who have had GE microwaves for many more years than 2 so that is what we shopped for. Found a 1200 watt one for a good price. Appreciate the extra space and wattage this size microwave has! The only feature that is a bit odd is that the time display is slightly inset so that you cannot see it clearly if you are within 3 feet of the microwave unless you stoop.
