Bought this 11-3-2020. Failed 2-21-2022. Has had light use as we are gone about 3 months per year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome microwave

We had the previous version of this microwave for 15 years! It still worked just was time for an update. This model has everything we love about our old microwave with some great updates. Larger cooking space inside, great controls, easy to use, heats up quickly. Absolutely love GE.

Instant finger prints

It gets the job done. I bought this exact model because it fit the bezel for another microwave that broke. No complaints other than I have to wipe I’d down after every time I take something out because the open button shows instant finger prints EVERY TIME. I have to clean the microwave daily and this wasn’t a thing with prior appliances

Don’t expect it to last

Purchased late December 2020. By May 2022 it’s making a weird noise that sounds as if the turntable isn’t in place. We’ve checked and re-checked and it’s locked in place. Unfortunately we are outside the manufacturers warranty period by 5 months so lesson learned. Our previous microwave was over 15 years old. I won’t buy another GE.

Worst microwave I've ever owned

This thing is tinny, hard to control and a piece of overpriced junk. Worst GE product I have ever owned. I'm 68 and have always been impressed with GE. Not anymore!

It's a microwave! Let's have popcorn!

Works great! It's clean looking, sturdy, heats up the food just right. Makes that popcorn in no time!.... Well, 2 minutes actually.. but who's counting? I AM! I love that popcorn. Soup - it's hot. Leftovers - blazing! Can't complain about it at all.. now, if you excuse me, it's time for some popcorn.
