Finally one that works out of box

A great microwave

This was a replacement for a very old GE we had that finally died. Got great reviews from Consumer Reports so we went with this model. I like it very much and it's greatly improved over or older unit. It's a tad noisier but it's far more efficient and powerful than the older unit. It's also larger inside and easier to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as good as predecessor

The predecessor to this was (I think) an earlier version of it (it is same wattage). We really liked older version and when it went - bad looked for something similar. In this area; there is not a good selection. This version does not work as well on "reheat function" and the key pads are hard to push to make it work - as compared to our older unit. Overall it is working but wished there had been a better selection in the area. I guess from now on we will just purchase all appliances on line.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
