Wow, much faster than my old microwave.

I bought this after reading such great reviews and it did not disappoint. This is a fast heating machine. Not only is it fast it heats pretty evenly which really impressed me since I hadn't owned a quality microwave in many years. I wasn't prepared however for the size. Seeing the size stated is one thing but seeing it in person is another. It's massive in a good way. I don't anticipate ever needing a larger microwave. Oh and my favorite features are up to 6 minutes of express minute heating as well as a silent mode! No more beeping.

Great Microwave for the price

We bought this for our kitchen when our old unit was fried in an electricity surge, and then we liked it so much we bought a second for our downstairs mini-kitchen. It's not the most powerful microwave on the market, but it is reliable and easy to use.

Excellent Microwave

This microwave was a replacement to another model that died. This model fit into our existing microwave housing and has all the features we would want in a microwave.

So many new features from my old 1985 model

I bought this a week ago and love the new features. My 1985 microwave finally gave up but I really enjoyed it. Need to learn how to use all the new features. Will download the booklet for it.

Exactly what I wanted

I did a lot of research before this purchase. It had the best reviews. I am 100% pleased with my purchase. It is very large, I can warm a 9x13 baking dish in it and it does not touch the sides. The controls are easy to use. Fast and even heating.

Quality is Slipping

We've had ONLY GE Microwaves over the years. They have lasted us usually 8-10 years. They also 'felt/sounded' substantial. This one has a 'flimsy' door...a 'wobbly' open bar and the so far, the cooking seems erratic. All of which prompted us to buy the extended warranty!
The ONLY ADDITION that is wonderful: The addition of an 'additional 30 seconds' button. The last one had a 'additional 1 min.', that was far too long!
Our previous one was easy to keep the outside clean, this one shows every fingerprint, which obviously on the 'open' button is CONSTANT!!
I'll recommend this ONLY because I've not had it long enough. Perhaps a "MAYBE" option should be added?!
