Our new GE Microwave fits the Trim Piece perfectly

Our 12 year old GE Profile Microwave needed a replacement for our Model PEB2060M2SS. I must have searched for six months for a replacement. I preferred the clean white interior color ... but needed the microwave to fit our current 30'' trim frame. Finally I read a review from a customer who had purchased a GE Model JES2052SN5SS. EXCELLENT! We ordered the new GE Microwave, brought it home, unplugged the old model, inserted our new microwave and within a few minutes we were heating our lunch in the new microwave. I hope this review helps someone who had the same need as ours!

Power Failure After 2 Months

It worked for 2 months and now needs replacing. I'll still get the same one but I'm disappointed.

Great simple microwave!

Great simple microwave (JES2051SNSS). This is a replacement for model #JEB1860SM2SS. Fit perfectly in our existing frame.

Cheap construction

Very cheaply made. Thin plastic outer covering on door and control panel. Press on it and it pops and bends. Shows every smudge when using the control panel. I do like the rounded interior.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Microwave did not last

Microwave quit heating soon after purchase. After only a few months of use, microwave will time down but light will not turn on, turntable doesn’t turn, and heat will not come on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the size of this microwave (will hold a rectangle dish with no problem). This one replaced a GE microwave we had for 20 years. It's ok if GE wants to update the look of their microwaves, just don't change the quality in how they are built internally!
