We love this microwave! However after 6 weeks, it stopped working. Power failure within the unit. We were very disappointed and my husband returned it back to the store. So now we are looking for another make.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my new microwave! This is my second GE microwave of this style. I liked my first one so much, that I bought another one just like it. It has a large capacity, so I can cook a large meal in it. I love steaming a lot of fresh veggies, and I can steam a variety of veggies at one time in this microwave. Of course, it can be used for small or large meals. We use it for reheating foods also. It is great for baking potatoes, cooking rice, so many different dishes! This microwave has a timer that can be used separate from the microwave. It is large enough to cook a small turkey or large roast in. Everything I have cooked has come out really good.
I would recommend this to a friend!
