This model has honestly been terrific so far!

After multiple attempts to find a microwave that works as expected, we seem to have a winner. The sensor function does a great job of heating evenly and to a proper temperature. The capacity is great, the controls are logical, and we've been very pleased so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Little Disappointed

I replaced my old GE microwave with an equivalent model and have only had the new one for a few weeks and already, where you push the numbers, there are gouges where my fingernails have dug into the plastic. I had my old one for 14 years and this did not happen. The microwave itself works exactly as it should, but with normal wear, the front will soon be all roughed up. How will this one look in 14 years?!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We ordered this one after purchasing a identical unit less than 2 years previous that burned up. We bought another one because up until that happened we were pleased and it fit the space that we have without having to purchase new trim kits.

Short length of service

We purchased this microwave July 2018 and started having issues with the unit in February. Our problem was with the computer generated system with electronic beeping eventually evolving to turning itself on and off, flashing F3 and beeping while flashing FOOD. We had purchased extended warranty because none of our appliances seem to last as long as they used to but were able to exchange because it was still under warranty. This is our third GW microwave in 35 years; the first one lasted 30 years but we have had poor success with the last 2 developing problems just out of warranty and this one in just 7 months of owning. We did replace with the same model in hopes this will have more lasting quality. We do like the unit when it functions properly. Fingers crossed!!!
