Good choice of functions

We needed to purchase a counter top microwave for new house, since it did not allow for over range model as we have used to many years. This new unit is much quieter than before and offers functions, such as button to add 30 secs for each push. Seems to have more power. We have to back off on cook time for some foods.
I would recommend this to a friend!

On my 2nd in less than 6 years

While I love the look of this microwave and the features, I am disappointed that my last one lasted less than 6 years while using it on average once or twice weekly for minimal cook times. The main reason I replaced it with the same model was to match the rest of my GE kitchen appliances. However, when it is time for an upgrade of those I will consider other brands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was looking for a good sized microwave with lots of good features. I found it in this one! Love the minute buttons and also the 30 second. Love the speed buttons.

This microwave does a good job cooking whatever is put into it. It looks good and isn't overly loud. If there is one reason to give it a 4 instead of a 5 it is the lack of a handle on the door. Sometimes it's a little awkward controlling the door when opening or closing. It has slipped from my hand several times when closing which causes it to slam shut. I'd recommend this product to others with that one reservation.
