This is the exact model that we had installed in cabinet when we built our home in 2008. Could not possibly asked for more of this model for our use.

Plastic and chemical smell never went away

We are disposing of this microwave and getting a new one because after 4 months the plastic and chemical smell will not dissipate. The food absorbs the smell. Nothing we tried helped and now we have to get a different microwave. So disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

final touch for our remodel

Our 2006 model finally gave out so we were looking for a similar oven because we really liked our old one. This oven is just like our old one only better!

Ok not great
We had to return the first one because door would not close properly, large dent and scratch on side near display, which did not work correctly, defrost cycle and others did not work. Got new replacement, again it had a large dent left rear corner, but display, and operation seemed normal, color and fits in area, so we kept it. Poor quality control issues!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good heating but very poor button location

microwave does basic functions but location of buttons and unresponsiveness unless you push very hard is frustrating. Add this to a very poor and incomplete user manual which does not tell me how to get to basic power levels without using what GE 's IA thinks I should use make this a NO buy unless you just like a sleek microwave with lots of poorly located buttons.

Simple design

We had a GE microwave that we had to replace because the door wasn't shutting. I looked for the same model because we really liked it. Apparently they don't sell that model anymore. This was was very close. I would recommend this microwave.
