This appliance is a great microwave to have . It has more buttons and options then my old one did. I am learning which button to use and how lonng it take to get items hot or warm.

Love this microwave. Works even with a 9 by 13 pan. Heats evenly so food is finished well. Looks good on the shelf too.

So far, this microwave is far exceeding my expectations. I had my old Amana microwave for almost 40 years. It took a lot to get me to change to a new one. This one had everthing and more.

This is a nice microwave but I do have a couple of complaints. The first is the keypad is crazy, you can't just punch in your time and hit start you have to hit "time cook" first then enter your time. Every number is preset for a certain amount of time. Also the "Potato" button doesn't cook your potatoes all the way, I usually have to hit it about three times. My last microwave cooked them perfectly and I use it a lot for potatoes.

We're happy to hear that you like your microwave overall. You are correct, the control panel number 1-6 can be pressed by themselves to add that many minutes to your cook time. If you are wanting to input a specific time, you would need to press the Time Cook button first, then press the amount of time that you desire, and then press START.
