Replaced 16 year old GE microwave with this one. Love the fact that you can silence the alarm. Convenient and easy to use. Transition from older model to this one was easy.

Loud Loud Loud but looks and cooks nice

Purchased this 2cf microwave recently and just started using it. This is a nice looking micro and seems to work well. It is crazy loud!!! Like the loudest appliance I have ever owned. Possibly louder than my washing machine. I’m an going to try and return this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great microwave, reasonable price

This oven is a replacement for the s as me one I bought 8 years ago. We use it almost every day and I think 8 years is a good life span for a microwave oven.

Most eager microwave I've owned!

I bought this exact same microwave five years ago, and have used the daylights out of it. Even though my wife of 30+ years has never figured out how to properly use a microwave's variable power setting (and has destroyed several plastic containers) this thing just keeps going and going.
Which is why I had to get a new one. Apparently it has become haunted, because when you shut the door, it starts up automatically, with no time selected. It usually turns on and off a few times, then stops, but it's scaring the wife, so I replaced it with an identical one. Ha ha!
Little does she know...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacing the Same Model After 7 Years

I had this model for 7 years, using it daily, until it spectacularly blew out. Aside from the smell, I don't mind replacing one every 7 years. It's been a real workhorse.
