We had a microwave just like this one and never had a problem. Many years later it quit on us so we went and got another one just like it. We really do like it, very dependable.

Warning control panel fail

I had this model microwave for approximately 7years, which I thought was a reasonable life for this appliance, considering the amount of use it gets. I purchased a new one. The control panel went out in less than 3 weeks. I returned it to the home improvement store, as I was not going to deal with warranty work after only 3 weeks. I replaced it with the same model, as there was only a limited number from which to choose. I will let you know if this one works out better.
