I just purchased this Microwave to replace the one that finally quit working after 21 years!! That's right 21 years. It was a GE also. I bought it when I first moved into my home, as well as a GE Stove and a GE Washer and Dryer. All these appliances are still working by the way. I had a GE Refrigerator I bought in 1995 that still works, although I have upgraded it to a bottom drawer freezer type Refrigerator. I will only buy GE products cause I know what I am getting when I buy them. Thank you GE for making a life long friend in me.

I would have like 2 additional features added to this unit. A temp probe would have been a plus. Also a better method of short timing for some items (micro cook) like a 9 second cook time.

If you put food in the micro but then don’t start it immediately, when u do go to start it it says FOOD n u have to open the door again n close before micro will start— Dumbbbb
No led lights on buttons, impossible to see at night
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
