4 stars only because it is brand new and being compared to the one it replaced. A Tapan (purchased in 1995), during that time never had any issues, zero service calls. So time will tell.

GE normally has a reputation for good quality. The unit works well but the “1” button on the keypad is already cracked and peeling. we’ve only had this unit for a month.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good size, concerns about door

The microwave is a good size for my family & easy to use. I'm concerned that the door might cause issues down the road because there are times when the light will stay on when the door is closed. Not sure if I would recommend this to a friend because I haven't had it long enough.
