It’s 1200 watts and it COOKS. May have to adjust your time a little lower. Hope it lasts 20 years like my last GE microwave.

Wife's mother gave us the similar model 30 years ago as a present and has worked flawlessly since so, when it finally went out was a no brainer to replace with the new GE equivalent model

We love this countertop microwave for all our heating needs. So convenient and you are able to warm up regular size plates. No more reaching overhead with hot liquids.
