Replaced the same model, that suddenly died

We have had this exact same (make and model of microwave oven for many years. As happens with all things, it died, we were in the middle of heating something up....it stopped humming and all the lights went off. We thought maybe it had overheated. Nope, dead as can be. It served us many years and so we replaced it with the same, Very happy with this microwave. No stupid knobs or unnecessary buttons. Straight forward and easy to use.

It’s perfect, except I had to return the first one as it wouldn’t heat on day #29. I had no problem with the company in obtaining a replacement about a week later. The replacement key pad started peeling in 21 days. I’m calling the store.

The outer door is made of PLASTIC

I do not recommend this microwave. I accidentally splashed an acidic sauce on the outer door and did not wipe down right away. As a result, since the outer door is constructed with a flimsy plastic cover, the sauce caused dull white splotches on the surface. Every time I walk pass the microwave, I am overcome with deep disappointment. There is no replacement part for the door. I expected better materials and performance from this microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
