Pretty good unit so far. Heats nice and even, does my popcorn perfect, which is important. Only thing stopping it from getting a 5 is that it sounds a bit clunky on opening and closing. A little loud.

Exactly what most homes will need!

This unit was purchased as a replacement for a similar unit that was 17 years old and still working fine until the door latch broke. I compared several different manufacturers of this size microwave oven and decided that the GE would be the most durable and had the features we used most often. It performs flawlessly and I look forward to many years of dependability! Most likely I will choose a GE full size gas stove as well in a few months to replace my 28 year old GE electric stove.
