This model is a WORKHORSE. Our last GE Profile was nearly identical (stainless) and lasted 10 years under HEAVY use. Great value and has all features we need for the average family. Recommended highly.

Worked for four months then quit heating

We enjoyed this microwave for four months until it quit heating. Contacted the warranty number. They said a repairman would contact us in two days. We are still waiting and it has been more than two weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have all GE appliances in my house I had a few older models of this exact microwave I just wanted to upgrade to a newer model and larger Watch mine was 7 years old. And this newest model is bigger.

Horribly Unbelievable

Unbelievable that I can’t replace the bulb myself!!! Purchased this microwave in June, 2019. The interior light bulb burned out yesterday, and I learned that the bulb is not customer replaceable—a tech must do it. GE certified techs start at $109.99 for a house call, then possible additional charge for parts, i.e. the light bulb. That is amazingly expensive for a bulb replacement THAT I SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO MYSELF!! There are two adults that use it, so there isn’t excessive use to have the light burn out so quickly. I gave it 3 stars because I really do like the microwave.
